About this game

Gameboy block game but C++ is a falling-block puzzle by DaveDuck321, built as a demonstration of the libgb++ library and compiler. Fit the falling pieces together to fill horizontal rows. The outlined piece below the active block previews where a hard drop will land.

Left and Right move the current piece sideways. X rotates it clockwise, while Z rotates it counterclockwise. Down lowers it step by step; Up drops it straight to the landing outline and locks it in place. Check the outline before pressing Up, because the next piece follows immediately.

Aim for complete rows instead of stacking pieces around narrow gaps. When a fresh piece no longer fits, the game clears the board and starts again. The controls here use this site’s Game Boy keyboard mapping.
