About this game

BeatBeast follows Joaquín through a world built around music and shooting. It combines rhythm-game timing with jumping and aiming, and offers a level-selection menu with adjustable difficulty. The project was made for GBA Jam 2024 by Afska, Lu and Synthenia.

The creator’s browser version uses Space to jump, D to shoot and Shift to lock aim. Enter pauses the game. In level selection, Ctrl decreases the difficulty and Shift increases it. These are the controls documented for the original project page, rather than a player embedded here.

Choose a comfortable difficulty while learning the timing. The creator also links a Hard-mode playthrough and the soundtrack, useful if you want to study a difficult section or hear the music separately. Follow the official game link below for the creator’s version.
