About this game
2048 Advance turns the number-merging puzzle into a handheld game. Each arrow-key move slides the whole four-by-four board. Equal tiles combine into a larger tile, and successful merges add to your score. Keep making space as you work towards 2048.
This is the archived GBA Jam build, created for the 2024 jam. Press Enter at the title to begin, then use the arrow keys to slide. The in-game panel labels Start as Save and Select as New Game. On this site, those buttons are Enter and Tab. Tab immediately starts a fresh board, so avoid it if you want to keep the current attempt.
Watch both the board and the score as tiles combine. Keep larger tiles together and leave yourself more than one useful direction to move.
