About this game
This DOS Monopoly adaptation follows the familiar loop of rolling dice, buying properties and charging rent. The included rules warn that some details differ from the official board game. The starting screen lets you choose the number of players, edit each player and toggle a Free Parking money option before selecting Play.
Each player begins with 1,500 in game money. Owning an entire color group increases its value and permits building, but houses must be added evenly across that group. Keep enough cash for rent and taxes instead of spending everything on improvements.
Mortgaged property produces no rent. If a payment cannot be covered, selling buildings or mortgaging property may be necessary; a player who cannot settle the debt leaves the game. The last remaining player wins. Read this edition’s prompts when resolving a rule rather than assuming every house rule is enabled.
