About this game
Steve Bennett's Sopwith Clone lets a small plane fly over buildings and tanks, firing forward and dropping bombs on ground targets. Enemies can fire back. The author's notes describe an unfinished implementation: some collisions are absent, shrapnel is harmless and water has no special effect in this build.
Press Enter to start. Left and Right rotate the aircraft; Up or X accelerates, and Down or Z brakes. Space or C fires, while B releases a bomb. Comma and Slash adjust the flight upward and downward, and the period key flips the plane.
The G command raises the aircraft and can help when the runway has been destroyed. Learn the difference between rotating and changing speed before attacking low targets. These controls belong to this clone, not to every version of Sopwith.
