About this game
Squishy the Turtle is a compact Game Boy puzzle adventure about recovering a turtle's missing eggs. The opening introduces six stages. Each area mixes obstacles, enemies and passages that favour a different body size, so reaching an egg is a small routing puzzle.
Move with the arrow keys and press X, mapped to Game Boy A, to switch between small and large forms. Small Squishy moves faster and fits narrow spaces; the larger form can cross piranha-infested water and frighten spiders, but attracts crabs. Look at the route before changing size beside a hazard.
Press Enter at the title and again after the story to reach the playfield. During a level, Enter pauses or resumes. Watch the egg counter at the bottom and explore the passages around the current room instead of assuming every route is safe in both forms.
