About this game
Taking Care of Business puts Demolisher Dirk in compact platform puzzles built from crates, brick walls and awkward gaps. Reaching the exit is a matter of arranging a route: a crate can become a step, but moving it carelessly can leave the next ledge out of reach.
Walk into a crate to pick it up, use the down arrow to set it down, and jump with the up arrow. The original instructions also explain tools collected in later puzzles, including the POW action for breaking brick walls. Start with the Instructions menu to see those rules demonstrated.
This is Moonlite Software’s 1994 version 1.0 shareware episode. The puzzle selection screen lists 60 puzzles, but this package supplies the first 15 for evaluation; the other puzzles and registered solutions are not included. Original files and credits remain intact.

Quick tips
Press Enter after the hardware check and wait for the introduction. Use the menu arrows to select Play, then choose Puzzle 1.
Walk into a crate to pick it up. Down puts it at Dirk’s feet; Up jumps. Plan where the crate needs to land.
F1 opens help and F5 restarts a puzzle. The original game can enter a demonstration if you leave its menu idle.
