About this game
Matt Plavcan's Tetris is a VGA falling-block game. Move and rotate each piece to complete horizontal rows while keeping the stack below the top of the well. A next-piece window and a breakdown of the pieces received sit beside the playfield.
This package contains version 2.7, described in the developer's October 1990 notes. Press a key to skip the title, then choose a starting speed from 0 to 9. Left and Right move the current piece, and Space rotates it. Begin at speed 0 to give yourself time to learn the controls.
F1 increases the speed manually, F2 hides the next-piece window and F3 toggles sound. Keep the preview visible while learning, and use it to leave a suitable space for the following shape.
