About this game
Piropa is a virtual pet game about caring for a frog as it grows. Catch insects, feed and pet your companion, clean up after it and tend flowers around its home. The creator describes six possible adult forms, giving you different outcomes to discover as you raise new frogs.
Move the hand-shaped pointer with the Game Boy D-pad and use A to interact with the frog, insects or selected tools. Start returns to the main menu from the care scenes. These are original Game Boy controls; the official project page supplies the game and a downloadable manual.
Piropa first released in 2023. The version represented by this entry is 2.1, released in 2024 with a fix for a crash during the death animation. Check the frog’s needs regularly and use the creator’s manual for the different care tools. This page is an information entry rather than a hosted player.
