About this game
Artman's Goplanes is a side-view flying game whose levels begin with mission objectives. Its small aircraft can collect missiles, drop bombs and an eight-direction spread shot from boxes: first break a box, then touch the released pickup. A 1-up box supplies an extra life.
The steering differs from a conventional four-direction action game. Arrow Left makes the plane climb, Arrow Right makes it dive, and the vertical arrows increase or decrease speed. Space fires the current weapon and Alt changes weapons. F1 displays instructions.
This package is the author's 0.9 Beta. Start by learning the plane's turning and speed changes before approaching ground targets. Read each mission briefing rather than assuming that destroying everything on screen is always the objective.
