About this game
Bananoid is a mouse-controlled brick breaker with colourful rows of blocks and separate circular obstacles. Bounce the ball back toward the targets while keeping it above the bottom edge. The title identifies this packaged release as version 1.00 by William Rieder.
Click through the title screen and allow the first board to appear. Move the mouse horizontally to position the paddle, then click to send the waiting ball into play. Follow its return path rather than chasing every sideways movement near the bricks. Move into position while the ball is travelling upward, leaving time for corrections as it comes back.
The small paddles along the bottom show the remaining chances. A missed ball costs one, so begin with steady movements and learn the bounce angles before attempting long shots across the field. After a miss, wait for the ball to return to the paddle before releasing it again.
