About this game

Beyond the Titanic begins on the ship's maiden voyage and develops into a text-and-sound adventure about surviving and getting home. Read room descriptions, examine objects and keep a map of connected locations; the puzzles depend on noticing details rather than reacting quickly.

Type commands and submit them with Enter. LOOK repeats the room description, INVENTORY lists possessions and DIAGNOSE reports your condition. Directions can be entered as words or abbreviations. EXAMINE an object before deciding whether to take, open or use it.

The parser accepts chained instructions separated by THEN or a period, but does not understand AND. If a combined instruction fails, issue simpler commands separately. SAVE and RESTORE are the game's own save commands; QUIT ends the current game.
