About this game
Commander Pang combines a Pang-style game with graphics borrowed from the Commander Keen series. It is a fan project by Thomas & Leandro Productions. The included guide identifies version 1.1, Cool Balls Patched.
Choose between One Player and Panic modes. In One Player mode, the game displays a password at the beginning of a chapter. Record that password before pressing Enter to continue if you want to return to the chapter later.
Left and Right move the character and Space shoots. P pauses, but resuming uses Enter rather than another press of P. Escape abandons the current game and returns to the main menu. Those separate pause and exit actions are useful to learn before starting a run. The keyboard layout is much smaller than Keen's platform-game controls: this game's guide assigns movement and shooting, rather than a jump and pogo combination.
