About this game
Lane is setsquare’s turn-based card game for the Game Boy Advance. On each turn you place a card, push one of your cards, or return one to your hand. Win by putting four different cards beside the red starting cards; touching two red cards with the same card still counts once. Normal, Double, Block and Ghost cards behave differently when a lane is pushed.
Choose a mode with the arrows and X. The archived jam build offers Trivial, Medium, Hard, Watch and Pass the console. To place a card, choose it from your hand with Left/Right and X, then move the cursor beside an existing card. Hold X and the push direction together, and release X first while still holding that direction. A tap alone does not complete a placement.
Q selects Push and E selects Pick. Push uses the same hold-and-release gesture on your own card; Pick retrieves your chosen card with X. An opponent’s response can shift the board, so check the cursor position before your next action. This is the small jam ROM, not an assertion that the later, larger author download has identical features.
