About this game
Pekka Kana is a side-view platform game starring a rooster. The Finnish instructions identify this package as demo version 0.8B and state that Factory is the available episode. Choose Start New Game and that episode to begin; the page does not promise the contents of a later complete edition.
Left and Right walk, Up jumps and Down ducks. Holding Up longer changes the jump height. Ctrl uses the weapon or operates a teleporter, so its effect depends on what you are doing in the level.
Escape opens the main menu and F1 shows help. That menu also provides the game's own load and save choices. F6 toggles sound. The original instructions describe optional blood effects controlled by F3, which is useful to know before treating the cartoon animal setting as an indication of the game's visual content. Practise shorter and longer jumps before approaching a narrow landing.
