About this game
Rings of the Magi is a sliding puzzle in which you cannot drag the rings directly. Click the arrow tiles around a board to push the rings in a row or column one step. Two or more rings of the same colour disappear when they touch. Clear every ring to finish the board.
Wooden blocks, arrow tiles, other blocked rings and the board edges stop movement. Clearing an easy pair too early can leave another colour stranded. Undo reverses the most recent move, while Restart restores the board, making it possible to try a different order without abandoning the puzzle.
This is Cytherean Adventures’ version 1.1, published by MVP Software in 1995. The evaluation shareware includes twenty boards across Novice and Apprentice. The additional Grand Master boards and editor are not included. A mouse or pointer is required for the board arrows; keyboard shortcuts handle menus and supporting actions.
