About this game
Sea Run is a mouse-driven route puzzle in which the boat follows the wind arrows ahead of it. Click an arrow to rotate it clockwise and join up a safe course. The opening countdown gives you eight seconds to prepare; during that countdown you can also change the boat’s starting direction. Once it is sailing, you guide it by changing the arrows rather than steering the boat directly.
Used arrows disappear. Crossing the edge brings the boat back on the opposite side, provided the entry arrow is aligned. After sailing a mile, reaching an edge through a valid route can reset the board, though another permanent island appears. Treasure chests add points, whales subtract them, and some levels require you to finish in a marked ending square.
The DOS 1.0 shareware edition retains its original English instructions and registration notices. Click to begin after the boat information screen. Use the on-screen PAUSE button to stop the action; the Spinnaker Up button makes the boat faster and increases movement points, so it is most useful once a route is ready.

Quick tips
Prepare the next few arrows before increasing speed with Spinnaker Up.
A route can wrap around the screen, but the arrow on the opposite edge must accept the boat.
If an END HERE square appears, reaching the score target alone is not enough: the voyage must finish there.

- Left mouse button
- Begin play and rotate wind arrows clockwise; rotate the boat only during the opening countdown

- Pause the game; click again to resume
- Mouse: SPINNAKER UP
- Speed up the boat for double movement points

- Read directions or show high scores
- Mouse: SOUND / QUIT
- Toggle sound or quit the original game
