About this game
Seek and Destroy combines top-down vehicle combat with mission planning. Choose equipment, read the objectives and take a helicopter or tank into the field. Fuel, armor and weapon choices affect what your vehicle can do, while the radar helps you keep track of targets.
The first mission phase asks you to retrieve two defecting scientists. Follow the briefing and pickup instructions rather than simply destroying everything. The helicopter can land and take off with Space; arrow keys move and turn, and Ctrl fires the selected weapon. F1 displays the original control chart.
This is Vision Software’s version 1.0 shareware episode, distributed by Safari Software for try-before-you-buy evaluation. The remaining missions from the registered game are not supplied. The browser package retains every original file and uses configuration generated by the original setup program to match the emulated sound card.
