About this game
Ed Federmeyer's Bubble Pop reverses the usual avoid-the-objects spaceship game. Your task is to steer into every bubble before the timer reaches zero. A failed level costs one of your three ships and starts that level again; losing all three ends the game.
Left and Right rotate the ship, while Up fires its engine and moves it in the direction it faces. There is no shooting key in the documented layout: contact with the ship is how you pop a bubble. Get used to turning toward a target before applying thrust.
Large bubbles are worth 50 points, smaller ones 100, and finishing earns a bonus for time remaining. More bubbles appear on later levels. P pauses and Enter resumes; Q or Escape quits. The included readme identifies this as the February 1999 update of Federmeyer's game, rather than another title sharing the Bubble Pop name.
