About this game
In Mice Maze, the Blue Mouse searches a 36-room maze for the missing Red Mouse. Movable blocks, prowling cats, mouse holes and hidden objects turn each room into a small puzzle. The opening objective is to build your score before the rescue story reveals its next clues.
Use the arrow keys to move and push blocks. Space prepares a bomb, followed by an arrow key to choose a direction. Cheese is a supply as well as a collectible: every 20 moves, or a room change, costs one. Running out ends the game even if you have lives left. The M map shows your current room.
This is the 1.2 DOS shareware package from April 1996. Advance the original directions with Enter, then dismiss the room-map prompt to begin moving. The original trial notice requests registration for continued use after 30 days; its old ordering information is not a current sales offer. Native save, load and hints remain registered-edition features.

Quick tips
A cheese pickup adds three units, so compare possible routes with the supply you have left.
A cat must be trapped on its own to be removed; enclosing two together does not work.
Mouse holes are a gamble: they can provide supplies, but they can also cost you items.
