About this game
NetHack Plus is a variant of the classic turn-based dungeon adventure. A character and pet enter a dungeon filled with creatures, food, equipment and unidentified objects. The larger quest is to recover the Amulet of Yendor and escape, but surviving the first floors requires attention to hunger and the meaning of unfamiliar symbols.
This package enables number-pad movement. Use 1–9 around the centre key for the eight directions; the traditional letter layout is not the active default. A period waits one turn. Lowercase i opens inventory, e eats, s searches nearby and comma picks up an item.
Question mark opens help, while slash identifies a displayed symbol. Uppercase S saves; lowercase s searches instead. Commands can request an item letter or direction, so read the prompt before entering another command.
