About this game
Perestroika asks you to cross a field of changing islands and reach the milestone in the upper-right corner. The grey platforms shrink and disappear, so standing still can be as dangerous as choosing a bad route. The green character is yours; the red pursuers should be avoided.
The bundled English translation explains the original Russian instructions. Blue and red balls are beneficial pickups, while yellow balls represent a penalty. The goal is to survive the route through a sequence of 25 increasingly difficult rounds, with three attempts available.
Allow the opening music to finish before pressing Enter for the instruction screen, then press Enter again to begin. The opening sequence is deliberately unskippable in this release. Escape pauses play. After losing, press 1 during the opponents’ dance to restart or 0 to leave.
